Lima Our city tour this morning includes the Plaza Mayor and the remarkable Larco Museum, which provides an overview of over 4,000 years of pre-Columbian Peruvian history and contains many priceless Incan artefacts. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to relax or discover more of the city at your own pace. Tonight we enjoy a group welcome dinner. (B/D)
Lima - Amazon Jungle Adventure awaits! We fly to the Puerto Maldonado in the southern Amazon Jungle. After a short cruise along the river, we reach our jungle lodge. After lunch and a welcome drink we'll take an afternoon jungle walk and boat ride to spot caimans along the riverbank. (B/L/D)Special Experience: The Amazon Jungle is an incredibly diverse ecosystem. We cruise along rivers, canoe across lakes, stroll through rainforest and see the native wildlife. Think monkeys, otters, parrots and caiman!
Amazon Jungle This morning we visit Tambopata Candamo National Reserve and Lake Sandoval, a beautiful palm-fringed expanse of water, home to the endangered giant river otter. This afternoon we'll cross the hanging bridges of the canopy walkway to learn about the flooded ecosystem. We'll take a nocturnal walk this evening before dinner at the lodge. (B/L/D)
Amazon Jungle We cruise downriver to a small community and visit a local farm, where we'll sample some typical Amazonian food. The afternoon is at leisure to relax and soak up the jungle atmosphere before a canoe ride on the Cocha and native fishing later in the day. (B/L/D)
Amazon Jungle - Cusco
Today we fly to Cusco
. High in the Peruvian Andes, the city of Cusco was the capital of the Incan Empire and is the gateway to the magical Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. This afternoon we explore Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), considered the most spectacular of all the Incan temples. Over dinner this evening we'll enjoy the old world ambience at the Casa Qorikancha restaurant, situated behind the Church of Santo Domingo. (B/D)
Cusco This morning we visit the ancient fortress of Sacsayhuaman, and discover the colours and local delicacies of the San Pedro Market. We'll also enjoy a short walking tour of the city centre that includes the Plaza de Armas and the 17th century Cathedral of Santo Domingo, a fine example of colonial baroque architecture. (B)
Cusco - Sacred Valley We travel into the incredible Sacred Valley, stopping in the village of Awanacancha to see locals weaving and meet the herds of llamas, alpacas, guanacos and vicunas. We'll also visit the impressive ruins and lively market of Pisac. (B)
Sacred Valley This morning we tour the town and fortress ruins of Ollantaytambo, then visit a house for a taste of local life. We'll visit the patchwork of terraced salt ponds at Maras and the elliptical terraces of Moray before stopping at the Seminario pottery workshop in Urubamba. (B)Special Experience: Enjoy a traditional chicha and taste some guinea pig at a local chicheria.
Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu A magical day as we travel by Vistadome train through the Sacred Valley to the legendary Lost City of the Incas - Machu Picchu! We'll take an in-depth guided tour before enjoying some time at leisure to explore further. (B/D)
Machu Picchu - Cusco Why not return to Machu Picchu for an optional second visit this morning? Later we travel back to Ollantaytambo by train and visit Chinchero for a traditional weaving demonstration. We'll then continue to Cusco by road. (B)

Cusco - Lake Titicaca Marvel at the amazing scenery as we travel through the majestic High Andes Mountains to Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Along the way we'll stop at Raqchi, the world's largest Inca temple ruins built in the 15th century. (B)
Lake Titicaca Cruise on the highest freshwater lake in the world, Lake Titicaca. Split across Peru & Bolivia, we'll visit the floating Uros reed islands and Taquile island and learn how each of the local families lives on their own island and survives the harsh climatic conditions. (B/L)
Lake Titicaca - Colca Valley We venture into the incredible Colca Valley, home to the world's deepest canyon and stunning volcanic scenery. We'll stop to enjoy the tiny villages of Patapampa, Chucura,Toccra, Vizcachani and Patahuasi on the way. (B/D)
Colca Valley - Arequipa
Special Experience: The Cross of the Condor is the deepest point of the Colca Canyon. It is where the majestic Andean condor can be seen cruising over the morning thermals. Watching this amazing bird in flight is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.We'll visit the cross early this morning and then walk through the villages of Yanque, Alchoma, Maca and Pinohollo, stopping at the mountain terraces of Antahuilque to learn about the importance of the balconies and choquetico (hanging tombs). After lunch we'll make our way to Arequipa. (B/L)
Arequipa This morning we explore the 'white city' of Arequipa, filled with beautiful buildings built from volcanic stone. See the Convent of Santa Catalina, Plaza de Armas, the Church of La Compañía and Carmen Alto - a viewpoint for stunning vistas over the surrounding landscape. (B)
Arequipa - Iguazu Falls This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight to lima and then spectacular Iguazu Falls, straddling the border of Brazil and Argentina. Our accommodation for the next 2 nights is right in the National Park, with the thundering falls on our doorstep. (B)
Iguazu Falls We explore the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls, and stand on a platform suspended over the incredible Devil's Throat. Warning - you will get wet! This afternoon we return to Brazil and walk the canyon path, enjoying the spectacular views. (B)
Iguazu Falls - Rio De Janeiro Get up close and personal with hundreds of stunning, exotic birds this morning at the Parque Das Aves. Set deep in the rainforest, it is home to more than 160 species of tropical birds, including toucans and macaws. This afternoon we transfer to the airport for our flight to buzzing Rio de Janeiro. We'll be staying right on Copacabana Beach! (B)
Rio De Janeiro Enjoy a day at leisure to relax and soak up the atmosphere or begin exploring. Tonight we'll experience a traditional churrasco grill dinner at Fogo de Chao. (B/D)
Rio De Janeiro Today we spend a full day visiting some of Rio's most famous sights, including Corcovado Hill, the Statue of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. The evening is at leisure. (B)
Rio De Janeiro - Buenos Aires After a morning at leisure, we fly south to the grand city of Buenos Aires in Argentina, affectionately known as the 'Paris of the South'. (B)
Buenos Aires Our sightseeing today includes the Plaza de Mayo, the impressive Recoleta Cemetery - burial place of Eva Peron, and Caminito Street in the vibrant La Boca district. Special Experience: Visit the stunning Colon Theatre, ranked the third-best opera house in the world.
Buenos Aires Enjoy a day at leisure to discover more of the city. Why not visit the amazing El Ateneo Grand Splendid bookshop, housed in a former theatre? Don your dancing shoes tonight for a traditional tango lesson, then enjoy a lively dinner and show. (B/D)
