Wonderful Spain/Portugal Trip 4 , VIC, Australia, Oct 2017
I have just returned from an 18 day Grand Tour of Spain and Portugal. It was a most enjoyable, comfortable and happy trip. We had an excellent Tour Director Enzo Buonomo, who attended to every detail with ease and showed unlimited patience, kindness and compassion. His knowledge of the region was amazing and he often would surprise us with edible treats ...read more of the areas we were travelling through. We had a large group of 40 but the coach was very roomy and I loved the seat rotation every day.

We all got on well together. There were 7 from USA & the rest Aussies. I found the accommodation first class. Food however I was not keen on. Some of the included dinners were terrible. The optional extras were very pricey but the ones for trips were worth it but the optional dinners weren't worth the price - 58 - 65 Euros was exorbitant. Highly recommend the morning tour into France, Montserrat, Gaudi's Park Guell and Segovia.

On the whole the trip was good value for the money I paid and would definitely travel with Insight Vacations again. I would also like to thank Georgie from Global Journeys for her time and trouble in organising this trip for me and would highly recommend this company too.
Out Amazing Sapin & Portugal Trip 1 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2017
We had a wonderful 18 day Spain experience with Insight Vacations. We enjoyed all the places we visited, in particular Madrid. Madrid was a lovely city that was easy to get around in our free time and we loved the San Miguel Market, a gastronomic delight. Spain is different in every region which made the tour very interesting. San Sebastian was ...read more a beautiful sea side town where we enjoyed the pinchos/tapas on offer and the atmosphere of the town. I would recommend this tour to travellers who would like a comprehensive tour of Spain. The optional dinners were not quite up to expectation and some hotel rooms were not consistent across the group of travellers with some travellers having a great room to other travellers not getting the same or similar. Georgie at Global Journeys is fabulous and we would have no hesitation in recommending Georgie or Global Journeys.
Spain and Lisbon 1 , Vic, Australia, Aug 2016
This was a long trip (18 days) and a lot of time was spent travelling in the coach. For the money we paid I would have thought that many of the optionals should have been included. We do most and it cost us a further 1200€. This makes for a very expensive holiday. The position of the hotels is not convenient. Most times we were situated out of town ...read more centre and it made it difficult for us to do our own thing. Dinner highlights were on some occasions lowlights; here is the bus group, feed them and get them out of here. Thank heaven both bus drivers and Elena, our guide were accommodating. Elena is vivacious and enthusiastic. Our group was also a great group to travel with.
