The cities visited were amazing and a comprehensive overview was provided. The weather was perfect and Italy delivered it's best. I love this country and Cosmos provided mostly good hotels but a couple didn't quite deliver. The time provided to explore was terrific and the guides provided good commentary.

We had an amazing time on this tour. We chose to travel with Cosmos because they seemed the best value, and for what we paid we were extremely happy with the inclusions. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, our group while large was a good mix, the coach was comfortable and with one or two exceptions the accommodation was great. The tour itself took us through so many wonderful places in Italy, there wasn't a day wasted but the pace was manageable. Make sure to budget for the optional excursions, we did almost all of them and they were very much worth it. And booking through Global Journeys couldn't have been easier, we will definitely be using them again.

We consider the entire 14 day "Italy's Best" tour of Italy one continuous highlight, whereby each city or place visited in Italy presented a "Wow" factor, whether it be because of historical significance, architectural marvel, or cultural appreciation. The cities and places making up the tour were fantastic and I don't think that a better itinerary could have been provided.

The group of 42 people including ourselves all got on well and we had a great time together, and we think that the mix of people from different parts of the world and from different parts of Australia made the tour all the more interesting. Our tour director Flora was great, she was professional and extremely knowledgeable and was also fun to be around. We all felt that we were in good hands with Flora at the helm and no request or issue was ever too much trouble for her to personally address. Georgio the driver was also great, whereby he had excellent driving skills and strong familiarity of the roads which made us all feel safe throughout the entirety of the tour. Georgio was also very well organised with the luggage handling on arriving at, and departure from, each hotel.

The quality of the breakfasts at each hotel was second to none, and the included dinners were of high standard as well. We had only 2 minor issues which we do want to bring to your attention however,..the included dinner at the hotel in Perugia (La Meridiana), did not include drinking water, whereby this had to be purchased, which we thought was quite unreasonable and poor, and the shower at the Grand Hotel Du Park et Regina at Montecatini was way too small with clingy poor coverage curtains which resulted in flooding of the floor area, which made showering extremely uncomfortable.

I trust that Global journeys will review these 2 small items in good faith for the benefit of future tours. We want to say thanks to Global Journeys for an excellent tour package provided, and to yourself Jemma for all your personal efforts and assistance provided to us from when we first signed up for the tour, right up to our departure date. We will definitely consider Global Journeys and Cosmos again for future holidays. Thanks again,

Italy's best was a wonderful taste of all the places you would like to return for longer stays. The tour guide was great and everyone on the tour got on well together. A couple of the hotels weren't the best. I would like to thank Georgie for a wonderful job organising everything. It was all done smoothly and all documents were received on time. I would definitely use Global Journeys again.

My mother and I went on our first trip overseas together and we decided to book with Cosmos and tour Italy. My mother had used Cosmos before but this was my first time.

The tour was Italy's Best and it was an amazing tour. I had a wonderful time. Our tour guide, GianLuca and our bus driver Antonio were amazing and full of knowledge. They had to cater to our needs several times as we are vegetarian and we found that it was a bit difficult to get vegetarian meals in Italy. We both found it a bit frustrating with our dietary requirements and we were offered meat a couple of times. So if you are a vegetarian you may struggle a bit with some meals.

I found the excursion to Pompeii/Sorento was very rushed, we visited Pompeii in the morning - Pompeii is amazing but its a full on day. This gave us very little time - 3 hours in total - in Sorento and I was lead to believe we would be staying in Sorento but we weren't. I found a lot of the hotel accommodation was very far from the city centres, so if you weren't doing the optional excursions you were at the hotel - and most of them had little to do around them.

I personally found some excursions were pretty rushed and there wasn't enough free time - unless you chose to not do the excursions, but you want to visit all the famous landmarks while you are there!. The weather was extremely hot and some of the hotels that were chosen didn't have proper working air conditioning either so that made it a bit hard to sleep some nights. I have too many highlights to mention! I really did have an amazing time and made some wonderful memories.
