This is my fourth booking with Cosmos & Global Journeys and as always, it has been amazing! Very well organised, planned and executed. Been to many countries, stop overs at many towns within the countries, places of interests and shared plenty of fun and laughter with tour group. All of this would not have been possible within a space of 23 days if it had not been with Cosmos & Global Journeys.

The coach was clean, comfortable and the driver was very experienced. We were told only he could have driven through the very narrow cobbled streets in the little towns and traffic in big towns with such ease. The tour director was was always around to guide us, give clear daily instructions and preview places we were going to visit etc. The hotels were mostly 3 stars which is fine with me. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although some of the tour members found some of bathrooms slightly small. I'm very happy overall as it is worry free holiday as Cosmos with it's years of experience has put together a great holiday package.

Very busy tour, even though we sometimes had 2 nights in one place, we usually did not arrive until very late afternoon, so left very little time to explore in lots of places. We found on this trip we had to buy a lot of the extra tours just to see the places we wanted to, as the time was very tight. Disappointing that they no longer take you inside the Colosseum in Rome, you now only view from outside.

Hotels were all pretty good, included meal in Lucerne was terrible, can only say it was equivalent to Ikea Café meal. Food in German Hotel was the best, very good. Verona and Carcassonne were surprisingly nice. Would have liked more time in Nice, either Monte Carlo or Nice, no time to see both. All main tourist places very busy, even though not peak season, would go earlier or later again. Good crowd on the coach, all got along well and had fun together.

We had the time of our lives on our Cosmos Grand European tour. Memories that we will have forever. The tour was fast paced as we expected, so we were able to experience so many fabulous destinations and sightseeing opportunities. We didn’t have a care in the world as everything was organised for us. Georgie was a pleasure to deal with concerning all of our booking needs and any queries we had were answered immediately.

Our tour guide Clara Crawford was absolutely amazing, she was super efficient and very knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for Clara and she couldn’t have looked after us better! Our driver Antonio was a brilliant driver and we were felt safe and comfortable on the coach at all times. Thank you Cosmos for such a wonderful holiday!

This was my family's first Europe trip. This trip has covered a big range of places of interest. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot of history and culture that we couldn't have learnt if we were travelled alone. Overall its value for money. Some accommodations were not good. Optional excursions were expensive and meals were always chicken. I wouldn't choose any excursion next time. Somebody stole my daughter's purse in the hotel reception in Nice. Both hotel and tour guide didn't want to do anything about it. We had to push the tour guide to ring French police by threatening that we would drop off the tour. We finally recovered a cellphone but the guide should have done better. It would help for future travellers to check the reputation of their tour guide beforehand.

Overall, a great experience. However it was disappointing that many activities were on offer as 'optionals' and therefore required more money! (Ed. That's right, Cosmos are a bit faster paced, offer more free time and/or 'Optionals', compared to their premium Globus brand of coach tours. This is why they are such good value for money. If one is after more 'Inclusions' then the Globus brand would be a better match.)
