Well organised. Would have liked rooms with a good view in Hobart ( Grand chancellor very noisy) to start the holiday. We did the alcohol history of Hobart tour which was quite a disappointment - tastings were so stingy you could hardly taste the whisky or gin. Food was good, however prefer the set meals rather than the buffets.

We had a great trip, could not have been better. Our tour guide Carolyn Tipper was just the best, very helpful and caring, has a wonderful knowledge of the history of Tasmania and was happy to impart it to the tour as we travelled around. Our driver Tom, must be your best driver, he was fantastic - we knew we were safe with him. The other people on the tour were very friendly and we all got on just great. I would recommend this trip to anyone, but I think we were very lucky to have Carolyn and Tom.

As a new tour traveller the holiday lived up to everything I had hoped for. Tasmania offered beautiful contrasting scenery and historical sites. Tasmanian's understand the contribution of tourism to their economy and were interested in making our holiday enjoyable and informative. Our Tour Guide Margaret was well organised and ready to help with any issues while managing to create a friendly atmosphere amongst the travelling group. Always felt safe in the hands of Tom our very capable coach driver, particularly on some of the winding sections of road. Meals offered something for everyone. Very comfortable accommodation. Booking with Global Journeys was easy and efficient. Happy to recommend Global Journeys and AAT Kings.

This was my first trip alone after losing my Husband 3 years ago. I was very nervous but as soon as I arrived at the hotel I felt at ease. The whole trip was amazing and I would recommend it to other travellers. It was my first trip with AAT Kings and I certainly would travel with them again. Our coach was excellent and our Coach Driver was like an Encyclopedia with the knowledge he had. Our Tour Guide was also excellent and we never had to wait for anything, she was on the ball all the time. The accommodation around Tasmania was excellent. My fellow travellers were all very nice and we all got on very well. We had a mixture of Australians, English and Americans and it was great getting to know them all.

When I booked this holiday, I wasn't sure about the time of year but I went prepared for everything and we got everything, including snow up on Cradle Mountain and it was glorious. Coming from Western Australia, we don't get snow, so it didn't bother me at all. My only disappointment was at the end of our tour and we visited the Mono Museum. I felt it isn't everyone's cup of tea and to be able to do something else as others went there would have been better. Other than that I had a fabulous time and would recommend it to future travellers. This is my second time booking through Global Jounreys and once again I haven't been disappointed. Everything fell into place and no upsets. Thank you. Happy Traveller from Perth, Western Australia.
