Very interesting - be prepared for long days and a lot of walking! 4 , ACT, Australia, Apr 2018
Our group enjoyed the tour very much. Israel was as expected but Jordan was a pleasant surprise, we loved it! Israel hotels were good but Jordan Marriott hotels were outstanding, especially the Dead Sea resort. Our guide in Israel (Orna) was very knowledgeable but the scheduling of lunch breaks was too late and too much was packed in a very long ...read more day that it wore us out. Perhaps the tour could be extended by 2 days to make it less hectic.

The operator should also seek out more variety for lunch stops as we loved the food but swarma and falafel everyday gets to be boring. Our guide in Jordan (Sam) was the best, he was very organised and very clear with instructions. He was also very informative and answered all questions, even controversial ones, in a fair and honest manner.

I would highly recommend the tour but be prepared for alot of walking and stairs. We were blessed with good touring weather but I would not go when it’s hot. Be prepared to wait in line.

Bring US$dollars in small bills as you can use them even for small purchases everywhere. Changing into local currency is a loss as they charge more if you pay in shekels and dinar.
Wonderful trip 1 , Australia, Mar 2014
This was our 4th trip with Globus and it was great. In Israel we only stayed in three hotels in Tel Aviv (one night), Tiberius (two nights) and Jerusalem (5 nights) so packing/unpacking was minimized. The whole experience was excellent and our guide got us into places ahead of the large crowds that are often encountered. We covered an enormous range ...read more of holy sites during our nine days in Israel. We never felt unsafe in either Israel or Jordon. Jordon was wonderful especially Wadi Rum, Jerash (the best preserved Greco/Roman City in the Middle East), Petra and the Dead Sea ( a great experience floating here). Jordon hotels were all 5 star. Overall a wonderful trip.
Excellent tour especially the Jordan extension 0 , Australia, Oct 2013
This was an excellent tour especially the Jordan extension. The first time I have used Global Journeys and Georgie was excellent, booking our tour and airfares to and from. An altogether enjoyable tour, fabulous accommodation - much better than we had anticipated.
