Day 3
Beijing Featured Excursion: The Great Wall, the Sacred Way, and Kung Fu show at the Red Theater
Walk along China’s Great Wall—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and truly one of the manmade wonders of the world. On your way back to Beijing, travel the Sacred Way, home to the remnants of the Ming Tombs. End your day with an exhilarating Kung Fu show featuring some of China’s best martial artists. (BB/L/D)

Beijing, fly to Xi’an Featured Excursion: Hutongs tour with home-hosted lunch in Beijing and dumpling dinner in Xi'an
Ride in a rickshaw for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hutongs—the ancient lanes and alleyways of the old residential area of Beijing—and enjoy lunch with a local family. Day 5
Xi’an Featured Excursion: Terra Cotta Warriors, City Wall, and Tang Dynasty dinner and performance

Xi’an, fly to Chongqing cruising the Yangtze River Featured Excursion: Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Chongqing Zoo giant panda visit
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an ancient holy place of Buddhists. Then fly to Chongqing, where you’ll stop for a glimpse of the giant pandas at the city zoo before boarding the elegant Victoria Cruises ship, Victoria Jenna, to begin your journey down the awe-inspiring Yangtze. Day 7
Cruising the Yangtze River Featured Excursion: Fengdu

Day 9
Yichang, fly to Shanghai Featured Excursion: Three Gorges Dam

Day 10
Shanghai Featured Excursion: Shanghai city tour and Shanghai Acrobats performance

The Victoria Empress is a luxurious ship which will be totally remodelled at the end of 2011, sailing the Yangtze between Chongqing and Nanjing for the first time in 2012. A large sun deck, two lounges, night club, bars, gym, library, salon, and two elevators complement two restaurants including a main dining room and an à la carte restaurant.
A professional, experienced, English-speaking Cruise Director accompanies every departure. Experienced Local Guides will take you on sightseeing tours of wonderful towns and cities, plus if the schedule permits, you can spend the evening onshore.
