10 Day Jewels Of Morocco![]() My trip to Morocco was amazing. Our tour director did an excellent job as she really had a thorough knowledge of the country. We were lucky to see such contrasts in the country as we experienced snow in Iffran and onto the heat of the Sahara. The hotels we stayed in were excellent. As a single traveller I was expecting to have to share a room but this wasn't the case and was happy to get my own room for all of the tour. There was plenty of free time for doing a bit of shopping or exploring on our own. The coach driver also did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience something a little different. 8 Day Jewels Of France![]() Don & I had a great tour and could not fault the service of our Tour Leader, Riccardo Cammelloni and our Driver, Dominique. Both were just fantastic and offered service beyond expectations. The coach was very comfortable and the tour group a good mix of people. Riccardo ensured we received excellent coverage of the history and interests of each site visited whilst at the same time giving us the opportunity to explore ourselves. The provision of battery operated tour guides was fantastic and these were used both with Riccardo's commentary as well as other guides employed for specific sites and tours. The pace of the tour was comfortable and generally accommodation satisfactory. The Ibis at Deauville was not up to anyone's expectations, especially the dinner and Riccardo will most probably have reported his own dissatisfaction to Cosmos. Otherwise the accommodation and dinners provided met expectations. The optional Welcome Dinner in Paris on the first night was great fun and what a super venue. A true introduction to Paris. The other optional dinner whilst we stayed in Amboise at a little family restaurant we found very good and a true indication of French life and dining. We feel Riccardo was not truly satisfied but the general reception by the touring group was good. We were so happy with our first coach tour that we feel we will take another sometime in the future and Cosmos will be top of our list for consideration. Many thanks for your own excellent communication and service. 10 Day New York, Niagara Falls & Washington DC with New York Extension![]() Well organised tour. Our tour guide was very informative and our bus driver friendly and a good driver. I did enjoy this tour and although short I would recommend it. The accommodation was very good except for Niagara but it was clean and in a convenient location. The hotel was worn and in need of a revamp, which the new owners have in mind to do. 9 Day Prague, Vienna & Budapest![]() Overall this tour was excellent for its price. The accommodation provided was unexpectedly fantastic for the price of tour. My main downfall of the tour would be the timing as it fell on the Epiphany and during the weekend a lot of places were closed and on those days we had no sightseeing options. I had a great time and made some new friends. I would not hesitate to recommend others and perhaps i would choose a longer tour next time as it was extremely fun. 14 Day Grand Tour Of France![]() First of all a BIG thankyou to Yvonne who helped me organise my tour and my flights. It meant it was organised with ease and she was so helpful that I would definitely recommend Global Journeys. This was my first tour overseas, and I was by myself. Interestingly I was the only person (other then the Tour Director and the Driver) who spoke French. The Cosmos tour I participated in was the Grand Tour of France. This was such a great experience. The tour itself was on during the low season (December 2011) but, this was great. The tour was run with only 13 other people on the tour. This meant that the pace of the tour was neither slow nor fast, and with only 13 people to keep a track of, the Tour Director (Riccardo, he made the tour so enjoyable and hilarious) was able to provide us with a great informative experience. Plus it meant that the 13 of us were like a little family. As I said I enjoyed the tour, and I would probably travel with Cosmos again, there really only were only minor problems. I paid for an airport transfer, but none ever came to pick me up. I rang Cosmos and I was told to work this out with my tour director. Reading the book that came with the tour, I believe as my flight had a delayed arrival after 1400 I was unable to get my transfer. The other thing people should be aware of is the hotels. For the most part the hotels were perfectly fine. In fact I was pleasantly surprised (I recommend looking up all the hotels on Tripadvisor before you go, just so you know what they are like.) However, the tour drops into Lyon, but it isn't really Lyon and you don't get to see Lyon, so don't expect that. The hotel is so far out that all you can do is go to sleep. The only other hotel I had a problem with was the Ibis Avignon we stayed in, my experience was the bed was a board. But it was only one night. Also The Forest Hill in Porte de la Villette is not as bad as some reviews say, but Cosmos could have somewhere better for people to stay in on tour. The lift broke with fellow tourers in it. Oh and free wifi, most hotels have free wifi BUT Park Inn in Nice makes you pay for wifi, something like 6 Euro an hour. The biggest bonus I had with the hotel rooms was that I only paid for a single/share for the tour but all the other singles paid for a single room so I had a room to myself for the whole tour, which was lovely. All in all I had the best time, the Tour Director, Riccardo was lovely, hilarious and helpful and the driver Ammarah always helped us out of the coach, and had some of the best driving skills I have ever seen. He managed to drive through fog over the alps. Impressive. I honestly cannot think of anything beyond little things that I didn't like, and as long as you do your research so you know what hotels are like in Europe (actually mine were larger then I expected, bigger than a postage stamp). I recommend the tour as an introduction to France as it gives you a broader view then just Paris, and the people of France were so lovely to us (as long as you try with French you are set). 16 Day The Best Of EuropeThis trip was our first experience of a coach tour so did not really know what to expect. We had a fabulous time and I think I can say, exceeded our expectations. It was so good not to have to think about anything apart form having a good time!! Our tour director, Sylvia was so good - very knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We were also amazed at the narrow spots Luigi could get the coach through!! We saw and did so much in a short time. I would thoroughly recommend a Cosmos tour and also Global Journeys. Frances was great to deal with and always got back to me quickly. I'm looking forward to our next trip already.Debbie & John Lea (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 22/10/2011 |

16 Day The Best Of EuropeWe had an amazing time on our Cosmos 'Best of Europe' Tour and we have nothing but praise for the company, our tour director and our driver. The complete package was ten times better than we expected and was organised to perfection. We would have no hesitation in recommending Cosmos or Global Journeys to other travellers and our only comment would be that the tour that we did was quite busy and probably not well suited to anyone that was not physically fit. We would be happy for any of your clients or yourself to ask us any questions that may add to their holiday experience. Thank you so much for organising the tour for us. 13 Day Imperial CapitalsThe Cosmos tour was amazing! The driver and tour director were both wonderful, very accommodating and knowledgeable, and everything was so straightforward and easy to understand. It was planned so well, and I was never left wondering what to do. There was a lot packed into the 13 day tour, but I was satisfied that I'd seen the best of everywhere we went, and I would definitely book a Cosmos tour again! As a solo traveller, the initial organisation was a bit confusing and intimidating, being thrown onto a bus with no introductions and with two other tour codes, but I understand they were just getting us all down to Dover as fast as possible. It was just a bit uncomfortable to begin with! But once we got onto our respective coaches in Calais, our tour director was fantastic and I felt much more comfortable. I was concerned as well about the age range, as I am 24 and much younger than the common age range for Cosmos tours, but I got lucky and there was a great range of people from their 20's through to their 70's. It was a fantastic choice for a solo female traveller! My experience with Global Journeys was nothing but positive - Yvonne and Frances were so thorough that I never needed to ask any further questions, and they were quick with a quote so that I met the 4 month advance discount. I would definitely recommend Global Journeys to anyone else considering booking a tour - and the bonus for me was that they waived the single traveller supplement, and I ended up sharing with another girl in her 20's which worked out so well! Overall, it was the best experience, and I am already looking into more tours.Amy Tester (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 17/10/2011 |

13 Day Western WondersBooking was made through Global Journeys with no problems. The tour was very interesting visiting iconic places in three states of America. Tour bus driver was excellent with a smooth journey and tour director was very helpful, could not fault either. Hotels/Inns were all central to the activities relating to places visited, only one Inn was a disappointment. Overall would recommend Cosmos, would maybe like a bit more luxury ie more legroom etc.Mary & James Webster (USA Coach Tour) Tour Date 13/10/2011 |

13 Day Italy's BestI have been to Italy many times before but this was a first for both my wife and I with regard to a fully organised and guided tour of Italy. We didnt really know what to expect as we had read some reviews of this tour and some of the comments were not that complinetary and seemed that some of the comments were in my view overly picky (eg, people were critical of the breakfasts each morning [continental] or that the hotels were not all that good etc). For Candice and I we were not only pleasantly surprised about the quality of the hotels (cleanliness etc) but just how well run the whole tour was. We were informed at every hotel about the schedule for the day/night as well as the schedule for the following day. The tour guide we had (Armando) was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. It helped that I also spoke Italian so was able to converse with him about other sites to see and areas to of interest. Our driver Pasquale Miranda was also an absolute hoot. He didnt realise that I was Italian at first but when he realised I was we got on like a house on fire. He was courteous, friendly and always made an effort to come and speak to my and wife each day. We got on so well with both the driver and tour guide, that we have exchanged email and facebook addresses. The sites of Italy speak for themselves but what made our tour so memorable was the people we met and friends we made on the tour, and just how much the tour guide and driver were there to help us. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is considering a fully organised tour of Italy. I would say for anyone who has read negative comments about this tour and for anyone reading my comments I would say this to you, take the hotels, breakfasts etc for what it is. You are in Italy to see the sights and splendor and to experience Italy. I would recommend this tour to my friends and family without question. Both Candice and I are working on our next trip to Italy and are aiming at doing the Cosmos tour of Sicily as this is something truly spectaclur and wonderous to see (from my previous visit there). A big thanks must go to Yvonne who helped us out and was always there to answer questions for us.Manlio & Candice Pezzotta (Italy & Sicily Coach Tour) Tour Date 11/10/2011 |

15 Day Central EuropeYvonne handled the arrangements very professionally and everything went like clockwork with no hitches at all. The extra two days I spent in Frankfurt before the tour began were well worth the effort and I was fully out of jetlag and able to commence the tour with body and mind in Germany. The tour was, as is usually the case, very rushed and there were places I could easily have spent more time, especially Munich and Vienna. A couple of the hotels left a lot to be desired from either being much too far out of town or not up to an acceptable standard. The tour guide (Arna) was every helpful with hints of places to purchase mementos and have a meal, often the local culinary delight. Mustafa, the bus driver, was excellent and these two helped to make the tour a delight. The coach was comfortable and roomy. Arna's history lessons of the places that were visited or driven through or passed by were very informative and assisted in gaining a view of the people and places that we travelled through and visited. I enjoyed the tour immensely and would recommend it to other people that showed an interest. My only proviso is that I believe that the tour is more suited to a couple or group than a single person travelling alone. I often was left out like a shag on a rock.Doug Moses (The Alps & Central Europe Coach Tour) Tour Date 09/10/2011 |

9 Day Irish ExplorerHad a great time and both tour quide and bus driver were wonderful. Tour guide was very informative, chatty, funny and willing to help in anyway possible and both driver and guide made tour very easy to enjoy. Would have liked a little more time at some attractions and perhaps a little more personal time for shopping etc and some of the hotels did not give you information their facilities (i.e. how showers worked, control of heating). Would like to travel again with Global/Cosmos tours as this tour was more than we had hoped for and the tour consultant was very helpful with all questions and extras required in conjuction with tour. Tour information and tickets and extras very complete and well presented when received in useful folder.Gordon & Meryl Shiels (UK Coach Tour) Tour Date 06/10/2011 |

13 Day Italy's BestWe just got married and were hoping to have a memorable honeymoon trip without blowing our budget and after comparing many websites we decided to try Global Journeys. Well, with the same tour and package they give us a much better price. The tour we took was with Cosmos - 13 days in Italy. Before our trip friends and family told us some 'not so nice' experiences with Italy and how tiring it would be joining a guided tour, so we got kind of worried. But Cosmos totally changed our perception and it was a magical trip for both of us and definitely worth every of our penny! We would say it was perfect throughout from the beginning to the end. The tour director was very friendly, funny, helpful, responsible and very attentive as well. The whole trip was very well organized down to nuts & bolts and most importantly the pace was really nice. There were no complaints at all. One thing we have to mention about the tour director is that he was swift - if you needed anything at all, straight away he'd arrange/settle it on the spot. In addition to that being local he new everything about Italy, and he had us all cruising through the trip without a bump. Definitely love it and made lots of friends through the trip. We are now planning for another tour to Europe again hopefully by next year.Steven & Claire Diow (Italy & Sicily Coach Tour) Tour Date 27/09/2011 |

I can't express my pleasure with the entire trip enough. The Tour Director was the best. Amazing person, as was the driver. Both of them involved themselves as family and gave us 1st class service. 14 Day Eastern US & Canada Grand VacationAlthough we have travelled extensively, this was our first coach tour and we approached it with entirely open minds. It was an easy way to get around and we sure did that - 3,000km in two weeks. The trip booklet we were issued with covered most organisational things so well that we were not having to ask. The hotels were exceptionally good, the coach very good and the driver amazing! But it was the tour guide who made the trip run so smoothly and successfully - he was very well organised, extremely knowledgeable, a great communicator, and calm and understanding at all times. The local guides were on the whole very good. We like the way Cosmos offers optional excursions, and also free time in most places with maps and information provided. The videos relating to some cities visited were good. I can think of only one thing that I would have liked - a large-scale map showing our daily routes. And maybe some books/info on the areas we were passing through to peruse as we drove along. All in all, thumbs up Cosmos for an economical and well-run trip.Barbara Lobel (Canada & Alaska Coach Tour) Tour Date 19/09/2011 |

27 Day European MasterpieceJust returned this week from our extended holiday. The Masterpiece tour was wonderful with good to excellent hotels and included meals. We had plenty of sunshine with next to no rain (Amsterdam the exception) and the group were supportive and good company. The tour director was knowledgeable and the driver very competent. As was to be expected it was hectic but we experienced some amazing places and it gave us a general overview of many countries. Minor inconvenience was lack of laundry facilities, but you get by. The other thing was not knowing ahead how much you needed to use the toilets, just need to ensure you carry plenty of coins! This was our 3rd Cosmos tour and I would certainly recommend them, just didn't like the amount they charged us to alter our travel dates, as this made the holiday quite expensive. However that aside it was good value for money and very well organised.Clive & Vida Mackrow (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 16/09/2011 |

19 Day European TreasuresI was very happy with the services and advice provided by Global Journeys and your tour consultant, Yvonne Brooks. I'll definately recommend Global Journeys to friends and family. The European Treasures Tour, overall was good, including the ferry, tour guide, the coach and the drive. Some hotels were too far from any tourist attractions, so we spent a lot of time travelling on the bus, instead of visiting the attractions. The Europa Hotel in Italy was really below standard. It was out of the way, poor service and terrible food. The Abba Hotel in Berlin was a really good quality hotel and centrally located; The Mercure Hotel in Paris was very good too, but it was a bit far from the city. The time given in Florence was far too short. After a tour with the local tour guide, which wasn't all that great, there was no free time to even visit the very famous bridge in Florence, in comparison, we had a lot more time in Rome, which seemed sufficient. I have to say that I was disappointed that a number of optional tours were cancelled, mainly because the tour guide wasn't very keen on taking us there for some unconvincing reasons. In particular, the optional tour to Montmartre in Paris was cancelled as well. This was the one of the most famous places in Paris which we really wanted to go. Most people on the tour were not aware that there was a significant amount of 'tips' we were expected to pay to the tour guide and the driver when we booked the tour. It would be great if the travellers were warned in advance of this large sum of tips expected at the end of the tour. (GJ. Tips are always optional, and we detail receomended amounts on each tour itinerary page - under FAQ's. They can also be prepaid if you wish.)Jane Lu Serafin (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 14/09/2011 |

19 Day European TreasuresI had a good time travelling throughout Europe. Some of the side excursions that were on offer however I don't think were value for money. The night time Lido show in Paris was a total waste of money and for the extra money would have preferred to have seen the real Moulen Rouge performance. The Amsterdam visit to a fishing village and wind mill tour wasn't very good you were bused there and then just left to wonder the streets. No guide or information about the area was a bit disappointing. Some of the food stops were not really appropriate either, not sure if any of the consultants have been on the 19 day tour and actually eaten at these stops. Apart from that a good time was had by all.Andrew & Judy Cleverley (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 14/09/2011 |

23 Day Trans-American AdventureThought the tour was good. Some of the optional tours seemed to be a bit vague (the tour director didn't have the correct or enough information about some of the optional tours). I would have liked the last evening meal (an optional event) to be included in the cost, so that everyone attends. That would have given us the chance of all being together to say 'farewell'. Wouldn't it be great if 'gratuities' were included in the cost... tipping is not something Aussies want to be bothered with. A 'fun' name tag that could be worn for the first few days (optional)as it is difficult to learn everyone's name. Other than one hotel (Chicago)all the hotels were excellent! Thanks, Yvonne, you answered any questions I had promptly. (GJ: Prepaying tips is an option on all tours. If you'd prefer this, let us know and we'll include it in your quote.)Jenny McCracken (USA Coach Tour) Tour Date 14/09/2011 |

14 Day Grand Tour Of France![]() France is a beautiful and fascinating country to start with and being able to travel in comfort and with great companions is just a bonus. Our guide Simeon was the best guide we have ever had, (and we have had quite a few over the years ) with a knack of making history come alive. We were encouraged to use our very rusty school French to at least try to order our meals but usually the moment we opened our mouths the waiters reverted to English. It was wonderful to have the cuisines of each region explained beforehand and we enjoyed trying out many new things. I will never forget the early morning climb up Mont St. Michel, the Bayeux tapestry and the sad beauty of the Landing Beaches. What with the wine tasting and the visits to walled towns of stunning beauty, the area around Nice and Cannes and the majestic Alps we felt we had seen and experienced the real France. Of course there is always Paris in all its grandeur and life to finish the tour tired but exhilerated. 15 Day Grand Tour of Britain & IrelandAnother great Cosmos Tour, one which will remain in our memory banks for many years. The sights of England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland were such a treat to see, the couple that we were really taken back by were the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula and The Cliffs of Moher in Ireland as the scenery was so fantastic. That is not to say that the UK was out of it , not by the least. We had a wonderful time as we toured through England Wales and Scotland, seeing castles and church's built 100's of years ago and looking for the monster known as Nessie at Loch Ness, not to forget a trip to the home of golf at St Andrews, what a thrill it was to walk upon that hallowed ground.David & Patricia Garcia (UK Coach Tour) Tour Date 12/09/2011 |

We had an exceptional Tour Director who was quite knowledgeable and gave us history & local knowledge of the area each day we had a great mix of people and got on well with everyone . It was a fast pace but I really think that we would not have been able to see all the wonderful places if we had not gone at that pace. 23 Day Trans-American AdventureWonderful tour of a Wonderful country. Tour director France Wray and driver Don Knight worked very hard to ensure no problems, Frances kept everyone well informed. Don drove over 4,000 miles, which is a long way to be responsible for soo many peoples safety, not to mention loading cases on and off! Accomodation ranged from excellent to very good, only motel which was uncomfortable, not even a chair in the room, was Red Roof Inn in Chicago, but it was in an excellent position, so I suppose cant have everything. Breakfasts every morning would have been nice, would not have added a great deal to overall cost. Air conditioning on bus was too cold, and air vents could do with some maintenance. Not enough time in Las Vegas. So much to see, another day or two wouldnt have made much difference. Most bitter dissapointment though was being taken to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Grand Canyon is one of the wonders of the world and cant understand why you would take tourists to the North Rim.Kathryn & Ivor Watson (USA Coach Tour) Tour Date 07/09/2011 |

15 Day Jewels Of ItalyGlobal journeys staff carried out our bookings accurately and answered all queries politely and correctly, all documents were received and payments acknowledged as stated and on time. The Jewels of Italy tour was very well organised and lived up to our expectations ,good standard of hotels were used relative to the cost of the tour. In general the optional excursions were good, sometimes the schedule was a little crowded to fit the optionals in. We enjoyed the arrangement of the tour, in particular the 4 & 3 day stays.Peter & June Turner (Italy & Sicily Coach Tour) Tour Date 04/09/2011 |

21 Day The British Isles In Depth![]() We had a wonderful time - our Tour Director Matthew Bell and Driver Andy were fantastic. Matthew was so knowledgeable and really polite and obliging. Andy was a wonderful driver and deliverer of luggage etc. The coach was always clean but the air conditioning was not working for the last part of the trip when the temperatures were really high and we were all sick with a flu bug working it's way around the coach, the lack of cool air was most distressing to all of the passengers and the crew. 16 Day Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation with New York ExtensionThe tour covered the main places of interest with plenty of free time to do your own thing. The Tour Director was pretty laid back and I thought could have been a bit more energetic in getting the group to interact with each other, for example, there was no get together to introduce everyone to each other, there was no group photo, there was no group dinner at the conclusion of the tour. However, having said that, there was also no pressure to do all the optional extras (on previous tours I have done there has been a lot of pressure to do all the optional extras which can be quite tiring). Some of the motels we stayed at were a bit dated (70's decor) but reasonably comfortable. On the whole, I enjoyed the tour (especially not being pressured to do more than I wanted to) and would probably go with this tour company again. My dealings with Global Journeys (Georgie) was easy, pleasant and efficient for which I would like to thank you.Angela Callow (Canada & Alaska Coach Tour) Tour Date 31/08/2011 |

8 Day Highlights of the CanyonlandsEven though the tour seemed to be fully booked when I requested it at short notice, Yvonne managed to get me on the tour. Within a few days all of my trip was organised and paid for. My documentation arrived on time and I was set. All went without a hitch, except for the small hiccup for the pre-night accommodation when I arrived at the Tropicana hotel. This was all sorted within an hour by the team at Global. The tour was great. Everything I expected, but wished there was more time in some of the places we visited - especially in the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and Bryce Canyon. All in all, it was a pleasure to deal with Global Journeys.Philip Anastas (USA Coach Tour) Tour Date 30/08/2011 |

12 Day The Best Of Britain & IrelandWe had a great time in the UK and Ireland, the weather was kind to us. It would rain while we were on the coach but when we had a scheduled stop the Cosmos Angels shone upon us and the sun would come out! They must have a divine connection up stairs ! Our tour director (Marvin) was a mine of information and local knowledge and made everything run smoothly. Ted (our driver) was excellent and navigated his way through some narrow lanes with great expertise. We had a great bunch of fellow travelers ranging from the USA, New Zealand, Canada and fellow Australians. We cannot speak highly enough of the service provided by the Cosmos group and also the pre-trip organisation done by Global Journeys unlike some agents for our fellow travelers, some of whom had hotel problems post tour. We would highly recommend Global Journeys to any travellers wanting to book tours such as ours.Trevor & Judy Barton (UK Coach Tour) Tour Date 23/08/2011 |

13 Day Totem CircleOur Canadian Totem Circle Tour was a wonderful trip, it included coach, ferries and train travel, we experienced all modes of transport. The driver and courier were both excellent, the accommodations were very comfortable, large 2 double bed rooms. The Canadian scenery is breathtaking, pine forests, snow covered mountains, beautiful lakes and rivers. Highlights of our trip were Stanley Park in Vancouver, the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, the First Nations Cultural Excursion & Museum in Prince Rupert, the trip to the Athabasca Glacier, Maligne Lake and Banff. We were also lucky to see 2 wild grizzlies and 2 black bears, an elk, many bald eagles, other birds, chipmunks and squirrels along the way. Meals were not included on the tour but this gave us the chance to try many and varied places, eating out is cheaper than Australia and we had some great seafood dishes, we particularly like the Halibut, a local fish that is delicious. All in all we had a great time and met some lovely people, it has given us a small taste of Canada and we would like to see more in the future.Beatrice Bentley (Canada & Alaska Coach Tour) Tour Date 22/08/2011 |

18 Day Canadian & Alaskan MasterpieceHi. How can we list the so many fantastic scenes, colours and people we saw and met. The train, coach and accommodation were exceptional. The tour director (Lynda Brown) was very knowledgeable of the areas we visited and was very organized. We had a good mix of stop off points for photos as well as rest breaks and rest days. I believe we were very lucky with our weather as we only had a couple of hours of rain on the first day as we were leaving Vancouver on the train, I believe the average temperature was around 28c each day. A couple of side tours we did were awesome, this included a helicoptor ride over the Rockies at Banff and a floatplane trip over Whistler. Both were fantastic in their own way as the colours and mountain shapes were different. The extra accommoodation we had (1 day at either end of the tour) was well worth it as we were able to see the sights of Vancouver at our leisure. The cruise part of the trip was not so kind in the weahter department as we were at the end of the summer and we had a considerable amount of rain. We did some side excursions which consisted of, Tracy Arm Glacier Tour and were pleasantly surprised at the scenery and colours even with an overcast sky. We were also very lucky to meet a pod of 25 whales when we going up to Juneau on the cataraman. We were looking at them for around 20 minutes. While in Skagway we did the train tour to White Horse Pass, wery misty and wet but enjoyed the experience. Seeing the exceptional harsh areas (and very scenic views) where miners had to endure the hardship of travelling over the mountains was worth the ride. Glacier Bay was our next on ship experience, a little disappointed (mainly because we had the experience of Tracy Arm) with the colourlessness of the area, but again it was an incredible experience. Ketchikan was interesting (did some shopping). Weather set in early but all of our sightseeing was well and truely finished. The inside passage cruising was a photographers delight in the variety of sights, colours & many wildlife sightings. Would and have thoroughly recommended this trip to all my friends and any other people I meet. Only had a couple of hiccups, departing the ship did not go too smooth as we docked 1/2 hr late and on the return plane trip I had a problem. When we go back, we think it will be for around a month and drive around the areas we would like to visit again but for a longer time. The whole trip was a good taste of what to go back for. The organising of our requests for airline, extra accomm was done by your staff with great expertise and hope to use your services again.Ray & Chris Lumsden (Canada & Alaska Coach Tour) Tour Date 21/08/2011 |

15 Day Cosmopolitan EuropeFrom the first moment I emailed Global Journeys about the Cosmopolitan Europe tour by Cosmos I knew I had made the right choice, all my questions, no matter how silly, where quickly and pleasently answered. The tour was exactly what was stated on website, very much a highlight tour of Europe, great for the first timer, a great overview of the main cities. Optionals offered where a great way to see a extra bit of that particular place. Made some great friends as the other tour goers where from all parts of the world (USA, England, NZ, Asia) and all different age groups. Hotels where very basic and sometimes quite far from the city centre. Overall had a great time and would recommend to anyone wanting a glance at Europe on a budget. I would travel with Cosmos again and will definatly be booking again through Global Journeys.Amanda Krause (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 20/08/2011 |

14 Day Grand Tour Of FranceI had a great experience with your company, from start to finish. Georgie was my tour consultant, and she was very helpful - responded to emails shortly after they were sent, was very knowledgeable and sought specific information I wanted answers to when she did not know it. She was very polite and cordial to deal with. I was pleased with the reduced price for the Cosmos tour which your company offered compared to other companies. I enjoyed the Cosmos tour, and found that I was able to see the parts of France I had requested to visit when I first made investigations (this particular tour was recommended based on my request). 11 Day From Rome To LondonThis tour basically met our expectations. The hotels ranged from very nice to fairly ordinary, the best being in Mestre (Venice), a Novotel Hotel. One needs to be aware that the hotel star ratings in Europe do not always match those in other parts of the world. The hotel where this tour starts is nice enough, however it's location for anyone visiting Rome is awful. The Tour Director was great, a young Italian lady who did everything to make the trip enjoyable. We visited a lot of places in a fairly short time and as a result one has to accept that in some locations it was only possible to see the major attractions of those areas. If there was a negative side to the tour it would have to be the cost of most of the optional excursions, which most people found to be excessive, in particular the Vatican Museums and Sistene Chapel where adult entrance fee is only 15 euros, but we paid 52 euros! Even allowing for the services of a guide for 1.5 hours, for 28 people the sums do not add up. In summary, we had an enjoyable trip, met some lovely people and saw lots of new places.Stan & Geraldine Hannaford (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 13/08/2011 |

16 Day The Best Of EuropeWe had a wonderfull time. We saw places we would never have seen had we just traveled independently. We did all the added extras and found it was great value for money. The coach was extremely comfortable although the fact that the toilet was unusable was in a couple of instances quite embarrassing for people to whom the call of nature came suddenly when there was still an hour or more to the next stop. The hotels were fine and we asked for 3 beds in each room and were accommodated. In two of the hotels we actually had two rooms. I would certainly recommend the tours to anyone and would certainly book my next tour through you.Anna Preston (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 13/08/2011 |

12 Day The Best Of Britain & IrelandThe tour was fantastic. The tour guide (Carmel) was a wealth of knowledge of the areas we visted, the coach driver (Brian) what a great man, courteous, friendly and an overall nice gentleman. The areas that we went to were fantasic, most of the accommodation was great except for one hotel (cannot remember), great stopping areas for photo shots and comfort breaks, tour shops were great. I think the most important part was getting to know the histroy of the United Kingdom, especially when we went to Ireland, Scotland and Wales listening to them speak in the native tongue and tasting their national food of the earlier periods in their histroy. My wife and I thank you for your assistance in organising the tour. I cannot say enough of the expertise by which Carmel and Brian conducted themselves and the fantastic nature of them both.Richard & Linda Willmot (UK Coach Tour) Tour Date 09/08/2011 |

13 Day Grand Tour Of TurkeyThoroughly enjoyed the trip. The tour director (Erol) & bus driver were excellent. My brother in law becamme ill in Canakkale. Erol acted swiftly, efficiently & with the utmost discretion to get him to hospital & back to join the trip. No one on the bus was aware of the situation - absolute professionalism from Erol. I believe there were too many days allocated to Istanbul, however we were there early & saw most sights. May I suggest that Cappadocia be included in the trip & not as an extra. It is such a beautiful place that everyone should see it, especially those who have limited funds & choose not to go. I would not hesitate in using your tour group again & would recommend you to other people who ask. There were people on the trip who were not happy with accomodation. I had no concerns with accomodation all were of a standard I expected & most were above that. Difficult to please all the people all the time. Would have liked to have more evening meals free as food is cheap & so much choice - maybe lunches should be included & not dinners when staying in larger towns. Hope feedback is useful.Wendy Gilmore (Greece, Turkey, Egypt & Israel Coach Tour) Tour Date 31/07/2011 |

15 Day Spain, Portugal & MoroccoAlthough hesitant about three coach tours back to back (my first time touring by coach) they all worked extremely well. Each tour got better perhaps due to the location being better each time. I think Cosmos is great value for money and the tour directors with 1 exception were a joy to be with, thoroughly professional and knowledgable. Unfortunately I had to cut short the Italy tour and return home for a family illness. The tour director assisted with connecting flights and nothing was too much trouble. Jodie was competent, honest about my undertaking of the 3 bus tours and friendly. 16 Day Italy & Greece - Including CruiseWe had a great time, it was very well organised, we saw amazing things. I don't really have complaints, more contructive criticism. We were on a tour of 37 people. At the introductory meeting I feel we should have been introduced one by one, very briefly, or at least given name tags. Our guide Lino delivered instructions and outlined the optional tours including one that night in Rome (50 euros each?) which no-one took. He then closed the meeting and we went our separate ways. A much better way would have been to have an included dinner to get some cohesion in the group. It was 6-7 days before we learned everyones names, and that was because I made a big effort on the ferry to Greece, to make sure we knew who was who. Each time Lino had to call out our names for hotel rooms etc, he always used our surnames, so we had no help with names then. More importantly..... the last 'farewell dinner' an exhorbitantly charged event (65 euros I think) most definitely should have been included, so everyone would have been there. There were 18 of us there that night. I assumed we were all going and was really disappointed that half the group were not there. 65 euros for that dinner was appalling, even though we were taken on a train ride around the Acropolis. We would have opted out at that price, but when we booked it and paid for it (many days earlier) we did not know the others well enough to ask them if they were attending. It should have been included - no question! My only complaint is that these optional tours were way too expensive. We should have done research before we left Sydney and we would have realised we could have done these tours on our own and saved hundreds of euros. I will suggest that later on trip advisor. Positives, and there are many. The hotels were excellent, the breakfasts fantastic, the buses very comfortable. We thought our guide, Lino, was okay. That was before we met the guide we had on the cruise. Marieke was exceptional, very calm, efficient and so likeable. She went to a lot of trouble to ensure our embarking and disembarking went smoothly. The disembarkation could have been very ugly, due to a taxi strike and union blockade. Marieke arranged it that we got to our bus without a single problem. She knew our names from day one, only 16 to learn, but she did make the effort. She seemed to enjoy the experience which made it better for us. I would not hesitate to go with Cosmos again. As I said earlier it was extrememly well organised, just needs a little fine tuning.Linda & Peter Rolfe (Italy & Sicily Coach Tour) Tour Date 04/07/2011 |

11 Day From Rome To LondonOn the positive side it was an excellent experience overall. The tour exceeded my expectations in so many ways so I have to say fantastic. Value for money vacation of a lifetime. Tour guides were both excellent and the coach was great as were all the major cities we visited. On the negative side the coach driver from Dover to London dropped us and all the other passengers nearly 1 km from the hotel and pointed us in the wrong direction. Also the Kensington Close hotel (at the end of the British tour) room was so small and claustrophobic (due to renovation) it was depressing just being in there. I couldn't wait to leave. Both negative incidents happened at the end of each tour making us wonder whether they just want to get rid of you quickly as their job is done. Leaves you with a bad feeling after such an excellent time touring. I feel the London section of tours needs some fixing as they don't do their jobs very well. Excellent work by Global Journeys. 15 Day Cosmopolitan EuropeThe trip was wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed the coach and the tour director with his enormous wealth of information. The driver was extremely careful and mindful of his passengers. The hotels were all not up to standard. Some of them were a little far out of town. They were small and did not have quite the facilities that you would find in most hotels. But they were clean and were fairly comfortable. The breakfasts varied from hotel to hotel. Some of the hotels provided very basic continental breakfasts while others were quite generous in their display and servings. The local tour guides were adequate except the one in Paris. She was excellent. But all in all - I would travel Cosmos again. The price was good and the timing suited us perfectly.Colleen & Michael Oehme (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 18/06/2011 |

No getting up in the mornings wondering 'What do we do today'....'how will we get there'...'where do we park'. 16 Day The Best Of EuropeThis was the first tour we had done, We had a fantastic group, everyone always on time so no delays anywhere for the entire 16 days. We found it too busy if you took up all the options. No time for sightseeing apart from the scheduled stops. The actual stops we had were very good, and we were pleased with everything we did and saw. The hotels were all very very good. The included dinners were probably 50% okay as were the breakfasts, however we did not go hungry. We did ask the Tour Director on one occasion as we were not taking up the optional 'tour' and as the hotel was out of town if we could travel with the group into the City and find our own way back. This we were told was not possible due to 'insurance', though on another day we accommodated a member of the tour groups son and his girlfriend, so that was a bit of double standards on the part of the Tour Director. Basically it was a fun tour and we are glad we did it, so many thanks to you all.Don & Bonnie Larmont (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 04/06/2011 |

15 Day Cosmopolitan EuropeGeorgie was wonderful and helpful in booking our tour - she answered my millions of questions happily. We travelled with Cosmos on the Cosmopoliton Europe tour for 16 days. Our huge disapointment on our tour was missing the Sistine Chapel, we chose this tour because this was included as an optional tour. We chose between seeing the Sistine chapel and Pompei (on a different tour). We along with everyone on our tour were dismayed and cross at not being let know before booking our tour that this would not be available as Italy had a public holiday! It would be a public holiday at the same time every year and Cosmos would know this and should devolge that it would be unavailable before booking! Grrrr! Also due to this holiday we could not see David in florence....everything shut! It was also printed in our personal brochure that the Sistine Chapel would be an optional tour. So not grumpy with Global journeys at all, but maybe make a note in the diary to let other travellers know that the public holiday in Italy is on at that time and will affect tour operaters and things they offer so no one else has to travel around the world to see the Sistine chapel shut. Otherwise everything was great, great driver Carlos and we had fun and the Cosmos tour was a wonderful way to see heaps and pack in the sights in a very short amount of time. 16 Day Golden West AdventureThis was our first tour of this type and I have to say, it exceeded our expectations. We considered other tour companies such as Trafalgar, but opted for Cosmos because it seemed to give us more options regarding free days, allowed us to choose when and where to have meals, plus a variety optional tours. Overall it seemed to give us better value for the dollar. Choosing the Golden West Adventure was a real bonus, visiting the fabulous Grand Canyon and Yosemite is a memory never to be forgotten, plus the exciting Vegas and San Francisco. Our fears about travelling by coach were unfounded, it was most comfortable and the majority of journeys were less than 2 hours!! Our tour guide (Al Lepore) was extremely knowledgable and always there to offer advice or give assistance. An added bonus was our driver (Martin Martinez), a great character and again, always there to offer advice and assistance. A fabulous experience and we look forward to doing it again .. on another tour of course!Ray & Seta Bingham (USA Coach Tour) Tour Date 01/06/2011 |

9 Day Prague, Vienna & BudapestWe enjoyed our tour very much. The only criticism I could possibly make was that the wake up calls were a little premature. For example, wake up calls at 6.00 am but we didn't leave premises until 8.30 am. Although it seems trivial I heard a few of the males on the bus complain and this could be a deterrent for future bookings. Other than that, everything went very well. The tour director was fine and we saw a great deal of places within the tour that we were excited about. Gerard is interested in a river cruise for next time as he didn't like the early wake up calls and different hotels. He would have preferred to stay longer at one place. Lovely trip overall. Thank you for organising it.Gerard & Yvonne van Rijswijk (The Alps & Central Europe Coach Tour) Tour Date 30/05/2011 |

13 Day Europe's HighlightsWe have just arrived back in Australia after travelling through France and we wanted to thank you for arranging our 'Europe's Highlights' tour with Cosmos during 20 May - 1 June 2011. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the tour and met some lovely people on the coach. All of the places we visited provided us great highlights of the iconic experiences of each of the countries visited. (The local guide in Rome even got us to within 2 metres of Pope Benedict in his Pope-Mobile as he drove through St Peter’s Square – a real bonus!!) Despite the very early morning rises to meet the requirements of getting cases onto the bus each day and on some occasions travelling very long distances between locations, we enjoyed the trip for the 'highlights' tour it was advertised as. We would have loved to have had longer time to spend in some of the locations, but appreciated that the length of the tour across the five countries visited would not have been able to accommodate that, and we now have a taste of places we would like to revisit for a longer period on any future trip. It was a great way to have a 'taster tour'. The Tour Director and the Tour Driver were excellent and extremely knowledgeable, helpful and professional in their tasks. There are a couple of things that we feel needed mentioning as feedback. The accommodation in most locations was what we had expected, however showering facilities in the room at the Hotel Poppi in Venzia (Venice) was not acceptable and most on the bus had the same issues with their facilities. The breakfast service at Hotel Princess in Roma (Rome) was also somewhat of a shambles due mainly to the pure number of bus tours accommodated at that particular hotel. Another venue might be considered for accommodation for future tours to avoid such a situation being repeated. The tour was joined with travellers from New Zealand, the USA and Canada and then other English speaking travellers from Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore and we enjoyed almost everyone's company there. On the whole we were pleased with what was provided as the tour package for value and experience and would certainly choose to do one again. Thank you for making the arrangements in a timely and customer friendly manner.Alan & Jan Heydon (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 20/05/2011 |

15 Day Grand Tour of Britain & IrelandThe tour was great. It was as per the brochure and the Tour Director was quite knowledgeable re history of the areas. The hotels were pretty good all over the tour. From our perspective 16 days was long enough to get an overall picture of the history and countryside. If there was a downside it would be too many souvenir shops - stopping sometimes at 3 a day was too much. (Of course these were also for comfort stops but 15 mins not 45 mins would have been sufficient). The only letdown on the whole trip was the last motel in London at Kensington Close - the worst hotel and most totally disorganised hotel on the trip - unfortunately everyone will remember this one because it was the last. Any suggestions back to Cosmos - change the Kensington Close to Novotel London West or find a better hotel. Also thanks very much to Yvonne for her great organisation of this trip for us.Sue Burgess (UK Coach Tour) Tour Date 16/05/2011 |

16 Day The Best Of EuropeWe did a 16 Day Best of Europe Tour with Cosmos - it couldnt have been any better. Our tour guide was excellent, we found her to be on the ball at all times and very helpful with any of the hiccups the passengers had. Always made a point of making it clear of us meeting time dead lines. That way we never missed out on seeing anything, she was fantastic. I wound highly recommend Cosmos Tours to our friends and would more than happy choose their company for any other tours we may do. As for Global Journeys we delt with Yvonne and once again she answered all of our queries in the lead up to our tour promptly, all our paper work for the tour was sent through when she said it would. She was great to deal with, pretty much between Global Journeys and Cosmos Tours everything was smooth sailing. What more could we ask for...the answer is NOTHING! I also will be recommending Global Journeys to our friends for their future holiday bookings. We only have good stories to tell about both companies. We couldnt be happier.Maria & Daryl Denny (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 15/05/2011 |

15 Day Cosmopolitan EuropeHad a ball on both of our tours although it was rather hectic. The European tour had a driver and tour director who were Italian, so that gave to some translation problems. The England and Wales tour was exceptional and tour operator Elva knew her stuff. Exchanged email addresses with those on the European tour but unfortunately have lost the sheet of paper. Our Email on the sheet was wrong, so we will not be able to contact anyone or they us, which is sad. They were a good bunch to travel with and we will have lasting memories. Plus 2500 photos and 5 films! Jack was a little disappointed that we were dropped off at the Novotel and then after a long day from Paris, had to catch a taxi to another hotel, which took another hour because of bad traffic. Thanks for all your help. We will travel with Global Journeys & Cosmos again.Jan & Jack Dixon (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 14/05/2011 |

21 Day The British Isles In DepthThe Cosmos coach was comfortable, and it did have a loo on board which we had been led to believe would not be provided. Both the tour director and driver were excellent. The standard of hotels was very good and certainly better than we were expecting, and the food was very good. The duration of our tour was 21 days, and towards the end, we were looking to its conclusion, but this does not detract in any way from the tour itself. The tour certainly far exceeded our expectations. We would certainly recommend this company and this particular tour to anybody, as the age range on our tour was between 25 and 88, and we never heard any complaints about anything at all. Three comments: we were caught unaware by the payment in total for all the optional extras on day one, as we had thought we would be asked to pay individually as the tour progressed, but we overcame that hurdle. Another comment is that for a 21 day tour, the number of nights spent in Ireland seemed excessive compared to the number of nights in England itself - eight nights in Ireland and only five in England. The tour director very kindly organised for a laundry to do some washing of our bigger items in Ireland, and we would have appreciated that service one more time. This was our first experience of an overseas trip of that kind, and as there were no dramas or problems of any kind with our tour, we would certainly recommend Global Journeys and Cosmos. Thank you very much for your assistance.Mervyn & Barbara Cook (UK Coach Tour) Tour Date 14/05/2011 |

14 Day Eastern US & Canada Grand VacationWe enjoyed the tour very much. We had a great tour leader in MJ and driver in John. It was our first tour and we were very lucky to have had a great group to tour with. It was a very positive experience. Having said all of that, there are one or two things that we feel could be improved upon, although we realise that it is difficult to provide first class options within budget. We felt that the Skyline Hotel in NYC was below expectation. In our case, the first room we were given had wet paint on the door, workmen working in the passage and a paint sheet still over the bed. The second room we were given already had people in it (which we found when we opened the door) and the third room was quite acceptable. It was noisy at night and generally unappealing. Another hotel in Canada had only one lift working and we understand that the second lift had been out of order for a considerable period of time. Lastly, we felt that 4 cities in the few days we had in Canada was probably one too many. Quebec and Ottawa were great, but we felt that one of either Montreal or Toronto should perhaps be dropped. We also felt that the minimal time in Philadelphia was a waste of time and a disappointment. We are not sure what should be done about this because Philadelphia is such a significant city so it probably should be given more time rather than dropping off the itinerary. We hope that our comments will be seen as constructive feedback as they are not meant to be negative. We reiterate that we had a great time on tour and enjoyed it very much.John & Kathy Foley (Canada & Alaska Coach Tour) Tour Date 11/05/2011 |

13 Day Italy's BestThe tour was excellent, the driver & guide were the best, destinations and tours were great. The only down part of the trip is the poor quality of hotels & supplied meals. We would have preferred to have paid more money and stayed in better hotels closer to town in the places we visited. Overall though we had a great time, met some nice people and saw enough of Italy to know where to return to one day.Colin & Joan Taylor (Italy & Sicily Coach Tour) Tour Date 10/05/2011 |

10 Day European JewelsLoved it - please pass on our thanks to Ronald and Christian our driver. Ronald was awesome and displayed all the qualities I would expect from a tour guide. He was polite, extremely helpful, had a good sense of humor, well informed, always there to help where needed and I needed him to get me to hospital immediately in Amsterdam. He continually checked throughout the tour how I was without being over intrusive. I would highly recommend you. Could you please also thank Christian who drove us around in complete safety. There were some curly moments and thank god he had his eyes on the road. Thanks Christian for an awesome job!Trevor Glass (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 06/05/2011 |

21 Day The Grand EuropeanWe had a great time and met some wonderful people. We had a smaller group (26) which was a bonus and we gelled together pretty well. Our Tour director Zsuzsanna Toth was awesome..very helpful and obliging. The tour bus and drivers we had were great. When we ate where dinner was 'included' the food was fine but it seemed on our optional dinners we were shunted in and out. Some of our meals were rushed..there were times we were put 'out the back' (Nice) or 'crammed in.' The ventian dinner wasnt the best either. The Swedish dinner and Flamenco were great, and of course we never had enough time anywhere :) Thanks for all your help!Lorna Baines (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 06/05/2011 |

21 Day The Grand EuropeanIt was great to be able to see so many countries and have city tours included at the major stops. It was lots of early mornings, but at least there was plenty of time to sleep on the bus. I wasn't prepared to be given such little time in some places, for example, we only had 1.5 hours to spend in Amsterdam (including finding lunch) and 40 minutes (including lunch) in Heidelberg, these two cities alone need at least 3 hours to enjoy just the outskirts. As it is a mid-range priced bus tour, the hotels were very comfortable but not close to the city centres. Most hotels we stayed in were on average a 40 minute bus ride from the city centre. The optional tours were mostly good, but the Flamenco in Barcelona was not. An entire day in Venice and Florence was fantastic but it was the only place we really got to shop properly and relax. The hotel in Paris was located approximately one hour away and we lost so much time in traffic as well so not even a single hour of free time by the time we did the optional tour to Versailles. The city tour was good and the optional Eiffel tower/river cruise too. I would have ended the tour in Paris and stayed a few nights longer had I have known this, rather than take the ferry ride back to London. It would have been nice to know about all of the incidental expenses prior to going, just so we were prepared, for example, the local guides that take you on the city tours get paid by tips by you, the passengers and the bus tours stop at places to get you to buy from a particular shop but often you leave that shop and find the same item for a third of the price just outside i.e. Murano glass factory. All in all it was a really good way to see the highlights of Europe and I would recommend to first timers. I am looking forward to going back and spending more time at the places I liked and/or want to really experience again. We had a great group of people on our bus tour which really helped but organise some group bus games to play as that is the only way to really get to know your travelling companions early on. Happy travels.Olivia Hesz & Marc Hurley (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 06/05/2011 |

21 Day The Grand EuropeanThe Grand European was a good tour to give an overview of lots of countries. Definitely not long enough in each place to really immerse yourself in the local culture but certainly enough to get photos and tick it off the list. Definitely sleep on the bus where possible and know which optional tours you want to do prior to departing... you will probably find you will sign up for more optional excursions than originally planned but that's because you don't want to miss out on anything. As they are at discounted rates for Cosmos tour groups it makes it even better. Jodie at Global Journeys was great to deal with. Everything was organised so easily over email. Highly recommended. 13 Day Grand Tour Of Turkey![]() The trip was great. It gave a very good overview of Turkey & I would recommend it to friends. The tour leader had an excellent knowledge of the history of the country. In fact Bijou was a walking encylopedia! I don't remember asking a question which she couldn't answer! There was a good variety of accommodation, all of which was clean. 15 Day Spain, Portugal & MoroccoGreat trip and well organised from beginning to end. Driver, excellent and Tour director also very good. Would have liked more time in Granada. Very long day from Rabat to Granada, arriving early evening. The following morning, only allowed time to visit the Alhambra then onto the coach for journey to Madrid. Half day too short.(Personal opinion) With regard to the general guidelines for gratuity for the driver & tour director, we believe they are rather excessive: eg 4.5 euros a day per pax for the tour director and 3.5 euros a day per pax for the driver. Overall, a great trip, well organised and well run. We would have no hesitation in booking another Cosmos trip.David & Sylvia McKerral (France, Spain, Portugal & Morocco Coach Tour) Tour Date 24/04/2011 |

14 Day Grand Tour Of FranceAs first time overseas travellers our first impression of Global Journeys was a very positive one. Yvonne was exceptionally helpful and professional, and we couldn't be happier with the accommodating way she handled our booking. The Cosmos Tour itself, which covered an enormous distance, was very good. Our tour guide Edo was informative and entertaining. The coach was very comfortable, and the drivers proficient in their driving (particularly Laurent). We enjoyed the tour itinerary, seeing and visiting some amazing places. This was a low cost tour, so some of the hotels seemed to be only 2 star, but all were clean with comfortable beds. (Which is really all you need!) At the same time, a couple of hotels seemed like 5-6 star! They were great! So, no complaints there. The only small complaint we would make, was that on one of the last days of the tour we travelled 570kms, which got us into our hotel 15 minutes prior to our dining time, after a long and tiring day of travel. Perhaps the addition of another overnight stop, with an extra charge could be put on this tour to break the long distance of that one day, and make that part of the tour a little more relaxing. This is such a minor complaint though. Overall, we're very satisfied customers, and value for money, this is an extremely good tour of regional France. Highly recommended! We'll be back for another, and thank you!John & Denise Leslie (France, Spain, Portugal & Morocco Coach Tour) Tour Date 19/04/2011 |

15 Day Focus On Italy & ParisTour Director... Janos Juranyi... fantastic, well organised, knowledgable, was good fun, but stayed calm and professional and kept the group on track. Coach Driver... Carlos... fantastic, we felt safe all the way, he knew each city we went to, again he was good fun, polite, helpful and very professional. Hotels... Holiday Inn in Brussels was clean and the beds comfy, but the condition of the hotel, well lets say, it needs bulldozing! All others selected were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts/dinners were very acceptable. Tour content... Just what we were looking for... a taste of everything, with a good amount of the extra excursions if you wanted them. The local guides were excellent... particularly Stephan in Rome, Leonardo in Capri, and in Popmei... all fun, knowledgable, made the places come alive. Would recommend this tour to everyone from 12 years up who are fit enough for extended walks on rough ground. ie the cobbles in Pompei.Sylvia & Kloe Swallow (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 16/04/2011 |

15 Day Focus On Italy & ParisThe tour was great. I loved the fact we saw alot .. but .. that made it really very tiring. Next time, i would choose the same company as it was value for money but, I would certainly try for at least 2-3 days in each place. The places that we slept for one night were useless. We did not see much, so Brussles , Ulm, etc were non events .. but Italy was great! Another thing, I did not realise that the hotels were all out of town. I think people should be made aware of this, and I think if the coach is going into town for an evening tour they should be able to give the others a lift in. Everyone on our coach was upset about this. Anyway, all in all, I would certainly travel with Cosmos again. I am now aware of how it all works, so i'll plan longer stays. Oh and Georgie at Global Journeys was great with the bookings.Glynnis Soans (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 16/04/2011 |

10 Day European JewelsHad an absolutely amazing time. 5 countries in 10 days, was very busy and tiring with all the early starts but has given us an insight what we want to come back and experience more of. 10 Day European JewelsMy husband, daughter and myself had an absolute ball, finished the tour exhausted but realise that is what we were meant to be after 5 countries in 10 days! Definately worth it. Would love to go again especially the north of Italy and Germany. Was well organised and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Would have loved to have climbed Eiffel tower though.Pam Newton (Europe Multi-Country Coach Tour) Tour Date 15/04/2011 |

13 Day Italy's BestI was really happy with Jodie, my tour consultant and her communication with me to let me know pricing and availability. The starting hotel for my tour, Pineta Palace, I found the staff to be lacking in good customer service, and the walls were very thin. The hotel in Sorrento was the most displeasing due to the facilies in my room - terrible water pressure, terrible showerhead, no soapdish, and the pillows were unpleasant. We were given alot of spare time in between things - sometimes, a little too much spare time to fill. Apologies for the negative comments. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! I would definitely do another Cosmos tour, or any tour I guess which suited my travel requirement destinations. Our bus driver, Gaetano, was wonderful, funny, and an expert driver. Our tour guide, Ciro, was absolutely, one hundred percent LOVELY, spectacular, organised, friendly, funny, efficient, and patient. Any tour that has him as their tour guide is lucky! The mix of personalities on the tour helped make this tour fantastic for me, but we also had unexpectedly lovely weather, and I loved it! 14 Day Grand Tour Of FranceI had a great time on this tour in spite of falling ill on the way. This tour had been recommended to me by a friend who had done it several months ago with the same tour director who proved to be just as good as my friend had said and more. Our director and driver were a fantastic pair and with the smallish group on tour due to this being the first of the season we all bonded together very well. We were so impressed that some of us are thinking of doing another Cosmos tour next year. I would also say that Global Journeys provided me with very good service.Wendy Ivey (France, Spain, Portugal & Morocco Coach Tour) Tour Date 05/04/2011 |

13 Day Italy's BestThorougly enjoyed this 13 day tour of Italy. I was on my own, but had made friends by the end. Our bus driver, Gaetano, was spectacular, and transported us safely from one place to the next, and our tour guide, Ciro, was absolutely and utterly fantastic in guiding, teaching, helping, and providing entertainment with a great sense of humour. I saw so many places in Italy I would never have made it to on my own, and had friends to join in the fun and Italian culture along the way. I would happily choose to travel with Cosmos again. 15 Day Central EuropeA most enjoyable tour through Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria by Cosmos Tours. We had an excellent Tour Director and careful driver, Mustapha. Both made a positive difference to our tour experience. The accommodation was good and we saw many exciting places, people and their cultures. Highly recommended. Our trip in late March had excellent weather throughout the journey and very few tourists! Booking our trip with Global Journeys was a breeze and their staff have been very responsive with the many questions we asked before we booked.Andrew Yeoh (The Alps & Central Europe Coach Tour) Tour Date 27/03/2011 |

8 Day Greek Odyssey![]() We had a wonderful (Greek/Argentinian) young lady as our tour guide and a great driver. We took this Cosmos tour on 26th March as a substitute for the Globus Footsteps of St. Paul tour which was cancelled. Obviously the content was not what we originally wished for and the tour did not go to Thesalonika, however, our guide was such a happy positive person and really attempted to make all the archeological ruins come alive and each day of travel a happy one. 6 Day British PanoramaThis tour was just what I thought it would be - a taste of England, Scotland and Wales. It is a quick tour but for anyone with limited time who wants a really good look around this is perfect. I loved it.Debra Matthews (UK Coach Tour) Tour Date 21/03/2011 |

6 Day British PanoramaI did this tour with my 12 year old son and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. He enjoyed the tour but not as much as he enjoyed the other 4 weeks of our holiday across Europe, mostly because we had done only the things he wanted to do up until the tour. I, on the other hand, would do a tour again any day. This tour was a 'taste of' kind of tour so we didn't spend very long in each place but it has certainly has whet my appetite for more coach travel. The buses are very comfortable, the tour guides very courteous and knowledgable and the hotels we used were fabulous - sparkling clean, bright and quiet. Even the hotel food was excellent. I think what I enjoy most about coach travel is the security and complete relaxation - it's a real holiday. I will be traveling again by coach one day! Thanks so much for the opportunity.Debra Matthews (UK Coach Tour) Tour Date 21/03/2011 |
