Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is the only accommodation at Monkey Mia and is located right on the world famous Dolphin Beach.

The Monkey Mia Dolphins have been visiting the beach for more than forty years. They are wild, native to the area and yet visit of their own accord up to three times per day all year round.

Monkey Mia’s beautiful beach is the only readily accessible beach in Shark Bay sheltered from the prevailing breeze, making it a perfect Mediterranean style holiday destination of warm days and cool nights – blue skies and sunshine 320 days a year.

The Resort caters for everyone with a range of accommodation from luxury motel style through to backpackers, caravaners and campers. Regardless of your accommodation choice, all the Resort facilities are available to all guests including swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, three eateries and two bars.

Other resort facilities and activities for guests include beach volleyball, kayak and glass bottom boat hire, snorkelling, power snuba diving and fishing. Additionally there are function rooms available for weddings, meetings and conferences, massage, internet café, digital photo lab, mini mart and several guest laundries.

The Boughshed Restaurant

The Boughshed Restaurant located right on the famous Dolphin Beach within the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is an alfresco dining experience with an extraordinary view. The Restaurant is open every day from 7.00am for breakfast, lunch and dinner (last orders 8.00pm). The local seafood and prime beef meals are delicious - the cocktail menu is ever changing and will have you coming back for just one more. Light snacks, cappuccino's, latté's, cool drinks, etc served throughout the day to keep the hunger pangs at bay. A true five star dining experience without the 5 star price tag.

The Peron Cafe

The Peron Cafe is open every day for casual dining, take-away food, from hamburgers, fish and chips to toasted sandwiches, rolls and cakes. Cool drinks, milkshakes and take away coffee is served.

Routinely eight dolphins visit the Monkey Mia beach however we often have more, the current record stands at 23 dolphins all visiting at once.

There is no charge to meet or feed the dolphins. You may swim with the dolphins outside the interaction area, there is no charge for this either.
