Freycinet Lodge, Coles Bay

With a spectacular waterfront location at the foot of the Hazards, just inside Freycinet National Park, Freycinet Lodge is a superb base for exploring the Freycinet peninsula.

As Freycinet Lodge is located within a pristine National Park, entry fees do apply. Passes are available from the visitor information centre at the entrance to the park or Freycinet Lodge reception with prices for a 24 hour vehicle pass starting at $20.00.

At Freycinet Lodge, children 4 years and under at the date of arrival stay free of charge (maximum of 2 children per room) if utilising existing bedding and if accompanied by a paying adult.

Dining

Enjoy exquisite cuisine, fresh produce and local wines at Freycinet Lodge. The Bay Restaurant is located in the main Lodge building with a panoramic view of Great Oyster Bay; Richardson’s Bistro offers casual dining at reasonable prices; or sample some of Tasmania’s best boutique wines and beers by the open wood fire in Hazards Bar and Lounge.

The Bay Restaurant
Indulge in premium dining featuring Tasmania’s best food and wine using the freshest produce. Overlooking the spectacular coastline of Coles Bay, The Bay Restaurant offers an intimate atmosphere to complete your Freycinet experience. The Bay Restaurant is also open for buffet breakfast daily.

Richardson’s Bistro
After returning from one of the national park’s spectacular walks, kick back in Richardson’s Bistro, overlooking Coles Bay. Casual, tasty meals are complimented by a good selection of Tasmanian wines and beers.
