Experience London - from the pomp and pageantry of the Royal Horse Guards to the welcoming pubs and bustling markets - this city has it all. Relax after check-in or spend time exploring the sights and sounds of London. On your first full day in London, your expert Local Guide takes you on a morning sightseeing tour including views of the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. On your second full day enjoy an included visit to Windsor, with an included visit to the castle and time to shop. The rest of the time is yours to enjoy as you please. Stroll through Hyde Park, visit the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum, have lunch in Covent Garden or explore Camden Markets. Paris (3 Nights)
Transfer to St. Pancras International Station in London and board the Eurostar, a high-speed train service, to Gare du Nord in central Paris. On arrival in the French capital, you are transferred to your hotel for three nights in this vibrant city. The next morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Paris which includes an ascent to the second level of the Eiffel Tower, a wonderful drive up the Champs Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe and views of Notre Dame Cathedral. Afterwards, you are free to do as you please. There is time to sample a pâtisserie, to shop in the chic French boutiques or to enjoy a visit to the Palace of Versailles or the Louvre - the choice is yours. This evening, why not take in a spectacular Parisian cabaret?

Frequently Asked Questions

I want to travel July/August will the Olympics in London effect my tour?

Yes, all Trafalgar tours starting & finishing in London during the London Olympics 2012 (mid July to mid August) have their start and finish locations amended. Tour pricing remains the same but London accommodation will not be available for these departures. The start and finish locations will be outlined in your quote from us, however as a general rule they are first and last cities visited on the itinerary (outside of the UK).

How many people will be on tour with me?

There will be a maximum of 49 people on your coach, however a Trafalgar coach carries an average of just 40 guests.

Will the coach be modern and comfortable?

With Trafalgar it's as great to travel as it is to arrive - we insist on using only the latest models of air-conditioned, luxury coaches, as well as high quality trains and cruise ships. For your comfort, smoking is not allowed onboard our coaches, however, there are plenty of rest stops for you to stretch your legs. You'll be chauffeur driven, door to door by a professional driver who will make your journey a relaxing pleasure. We use a state-of-the-art sound system for mood music with fascinating commentaries by your tour director.

Where will my hotel be located and what will it be like?

What does the tour cost include?

The prices listed cover all accommodations, all applicable sightseeing and admissions as per the itinerary, motorcoach, cruise or rail transportation, services of a professional Trafalgar Tour Director, all meals as shown in the itinerary and luggage handling.

Are tips included?

Trafalgar Tours has pre-paid certain tips and gratuities for you such as all baggage handling at hotels and ports. Tips to restaurant staff for meals are also included in the price of your tour. Tips are customarily given to your Tour Director, Driver and Local Guides at your discretion. The recommended amounts are: Tour Directors EUR4 per day, Drivers EUR2.50 per day and Local Guides EUR1 per day. The option to prepay these tips prior to departure is possible. Please ask your consultant to include this in your quote.

What is an 'Optional Activity'?

Our expertly crafted itineraries strike the perfect balance between making sure you visit all the “must see” highlights, whilst still enjoying ample free time to explore on your own or take one of our great value optional excursions. Do you have a share program for singles?

Many of our holidays are ideally designed for single or solo travellers. Every detail is taken care of, from start to finish, so all you need to do is enjoy your holiday in the company of like-minded travellers from around the world. Meals, activities and sightseeing are all shared with your new friends, so you will never be alone - unless you choose to do some exploring or relaxing by yourself. Accommodation can be booked as a private single room or like many of our clients, you may wish to share a twin room by taking advantage of our 'Room Mate Matching Service'. You will share a room with someone from your tour (same gender), so you can avoid paying a single room supplement, in addition to making a new friend.

Airport Transfer Information

Airport Transfers in Europe

All Trafalgar passengers receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers by shuttle bus on the arrival and departure day of their guided holiday at specified times. Any passengers whose flight times do not coincide with the shuttle bus transfer timings may choose to book and purchase a transfer. Additionally, passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled holiday may also book and buy a transfer through Trafalgar providing they also purchase the additional pre and post holiday hotel night(s) from Trafalgar.

Heathrow Transfers in London

Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the airport and your London hotel. Trafalgar has negotiated special group transfer rates from London's Heathrow to the door of your Trafalgar London hotel: AU $37 per person per single trip to/from Heathrow Airport. Passengers will be picked up and dropped off in time to meet all flights booked to/from London's Heathrow Airport.

Trafalgar's Transfer Terms & Conditions

  1. Global Journeys provides detailed flight information to Trafalgar no fewer than 21 days prior to departure. Once transfers are booked they cannot be changed.
  2. For London arrivals, you must stay at a London hotel booked by Trafalgar on the night of arrival and the night prior to your departure date.
  3. Trafalgar only includes one inbound and one outbound transfer.
  4. In the event of flight delays outside of Trafalgar's control, the transfers will be deemed to be cancelled.
  5. All transfers are based on group transfers. No refund is therefore available for missed transfers, or passengers not using this service.
  6. In the event of unforeseen events (such as road or rail works, strikes or demonstrations), Trafalgar will not be responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
