Tour Description
This is a wonderful vacation to see Jordan's highlights. Start in Amman, Jordan's capital, with a welcome dinner to meet your traveling companions. Guided sightseeing includes a visit to the amphitheater. Next is the rose-red city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk down the Siq, the narrow gorge made famous in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade; admire the famed Treasury; and sip tea in a Bedouin Tent. On your way to the Dead Sea, stops are made in Kerak to visit the Crusader Castle; in Wadi Mujib; in Madaba to visit St. George's Church and the Madaba Archaeological Museum; and at Mount Nebo, where Moses saw the Promised Land. From the Dead Sea, an excursion to Jerash, the best-preserved Greco-Roman city in the Middle East, and to Um Quais are included. A farewell dinner is included as well.

Amman - Petra.
Amman, the capital of Jordan, is ideally situated in a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. This morning's guided sightseeing reveals the contrasts of this fascinating city, a unique blend of old and new. A visit to the AMPHITHEATER is included. Then, head south via Bethany to Petra with a stop at Lot's Cave. Drive along the Dead Sea and arrive in the rose-red city of Petra. (B/D)

Petra.
Full day of guided sightseeing in Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Lost to the world for centuries, it is located in the biblical land of Moa. Enjoy an unforgettable experience as you walk down the SIQ, the narrow gorge made famous in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Stand in awe in front of the iconic and famed TREASURY. In addition to seeing numerous spectacular temples and tombs created out of the rose-coloured sandstone, sip tea in a BEDOUIN TENT. (B/D)

Petra - Kerak - Wadi Mujib - Madaba - Mount Nebo - Dead Sea.
This morning features a visit to Kerak to visit the CRUSADER CASTLE and Wadi Mujib, the "Jordanian Grand Canyon." Continue to Madaba to visit ST. GEORGE'S CHURCH, which houses a precious 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Also explore the MADABA ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM. One of today's major highlights is a visit to MOUNT NEBO, where Moses saw the Promised Land. Continue to your hotel at the Dead Sea for your two-night stay. (B/D)

Dead Sea. Excursion To Jerash And Um Quais.
The morning is dedicated to Jerash, the best-preserved Greco-Roman city in the Middle East. Next, stop in Um Quais, site of the Gaderene swine miracle. Return to the Dead Sea and enjoy a farewell dinner with your travelling companions. (B/D)

It is customary worldwide to pay tips to Tour Directors and Drivers on all international vacations and these are not included in your quote. The option to prepay these tips prior to departure is possible however. Please ask your consultant to include this in your quote. You will receive Gratuity vouchers with your travel documents and all you need to do is give this to the Tour Director and driver or Cruise Director and ship's crew at the end of the vacation.

Airport Transfer Information
Globus tour members may reserve our airport transfer service at AU$ 25 per person one way on the tour start and end date of the tour and are available for flights arriving/departing, within the following times.
