See some of Europe's most beautiful cities on this holiday. Start in Budapest, where guided sightseeing includes a stop at Fisherman's Bastion and a visit to the 13th century Matthias Coronation Church. Continue to Vienna and enjoy sightseeing with a Local Guide featuring all major sights as well as included visits to Schonbrunn Palace. An entire day at leisure in Vienna gives you the possibility to join an optional excursion to Bratislava, capital of Slovakia.
A highlight is the visit to Rosenburg Castle, to tour the castle and enjoy a falconry show (if held). Next is the Czech capital of Prague, where guided sightseeing includes a visit to the 1,000-year-old Hradcany Castle grounds. Marvel at the baroque splendor of Dresden, and and in the once-divided capital city of Germany, Berlin. Guided sightseeing includes a stop at the Brandenburg Gate, the Holocaust Memorial, and a visit to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. Included Features

Your Local Guide takes you through Eastern Europe's most cosmopolitan city. See elegant Andrassy Avenue, the Thermal Baths, and the world's second-largest Jewish synagogue. From the lacy lookout towers of Fishermen's Bastion, enjoy a panoramic view of the sprawling city. Then, visit the 13th-century MATTHIAS CORONATION CHURCH and Heroes' Square. Afternoon at leisure. Tonight, a delectable optional Hungarian specialty dinner can be arranged. (B)

Budapest - Vienna, Austria.
This morning, drive through the Hungarian plains to Vienna, once the centre of the mighty Habsburg Empire. Meet your Local Guide and start your guided sightseeing with a visit to historical SCHONBRUNN PALACE. Next, enjoy vistas of Prater Park with its giant Ferris wheel, and the United Nations City on the banks of the Danube River. Then, drive along Ring Boulevard, pass the State Opera House, the Jewish quarter, and stop at the Hofburg Palace, winter residence of the Austrian Imperial family. Marvel at the impressive courtyards and famous Heldenplatz and admire awesome St.Stephen's Cathedral. (B)

Prague - Dresden, Germany - Berlin.
Enjoy a walk through Dresden, the former capital of Saxony. Badly damaged by Allied bombing in February 1945, the city has since been restored to its baroque splendour. You'll love the architecture of the Zwinger Palace and Semper Opera! Then, head for the capital of reunited Germany, Berlin. Tonight is your chance to sample Berlin's fine restaurants and nightlife! Sightseeing with a Local Guide in the once-divided metropolis includes the Ku'damm, the restored Reichstag, Charlottenburg Palace, the 64-meters (210-foot) Victory Column in the vast Tiergarten Park, a picture stop at monumental Brandenburg Gate and the Holocaust Memorial, and a visit to the KAISER WILHELM MEMORIAL CHURCH. Drive along Unter den Linden Boulevard, and pass the German State Opera House and Checkpoint Charlie. The afternoon is free and an optional excursion to historic Potsdam is available. Travel documents, including any paper tickets or e-ticket itineraries and other information, are sent approximately two to three weeks prior to departure from your home country, provided full payment has been received.
The average number of people on a Globus tour is 38, and we limit the number of tour members on our tours to a maximum of 44. This ensures smaller groups giving you more space, comfort and legroom. However our Platinum Collection tours carry a maximum of 40 passengers.
If there is ever a time you'll appreciate choosing Globus, it's when you board our luxury coaches. In Europe for instance, we limit our group size to just 44 people with the average group size being 38, this means fewer seats providing extra legroom for greater comfort. With panoramic windows, air-conditioning, state-of-the-art sound system and reclining seats, you'll journey in style when travelling from one superb destination to the other. Your tour director will accompany you from the start to the end of your tour, educating you on the places and the history of the destination. Local guides are included in many cities to give you in-depth information on the culture, history and attractions of the city. Both Tour Director and Local Guides have a passion for travel, people and the destination and look forward to sharing their passion with you. If you chose to book either a "pre" or "post" - vacation extension, please note that your Tour Director may not escort you during this part of your vacation. However, in such cases, a Local Host will be available should you require any assistance.
It is customary worldwide to pay tips to Tour Directors and Drivers on all international vacations and these are not included in your quote. The option to prepay these tips prior to departure is possible however. Please ask your consultant to include this in your quote. You will receive Gratuity vouchers with your travel documents and all you need to do is give this to the Tour Director and driver or Cruise Director and ship's crew at the end of the vacation.

Globus uses the Eurostar for all channel crossing from London to Europe. The Eurostar takes you from the heart of London to the centre of Paris in 2 hours 15 minutes or Brussels in around 2 hours, while other operators will travel all day using coach, ferry and coach. With Globus you effective get an extra half day to explore in each direction.
Unlike other tour operators Globus has 50 hosts located at the airport and in each of our London hotels, so you only have to walk to the lobby not half way across London for assistance. Your host is there to help you with all your questions on London, they will provide you with maps, directions and a wide range of tours to ensure you see the best of London. Whether it be a city orientation tour, or dinner and a West End show your host will provide you with all the information and assistance you require.
Globus do not take reservations on a "share" basis. Sidestep the single room supplement by travelling with a friend if you can.

Airport Transfer Information
Globus tour members may reserve our airport transfer service at AU$ 25 per person one way on the tour start and end date of the tour (Excluding some tours during the London Olympics, contact us for details) and are available for flights arriving/departing, within the following times.
