12 Day Royal Tasman Reviews

Tour reviews from past clients of Global Journeys for the 12 Day Royal Tasman.
In general, the tour was excellent. The itinerary was as comprehensive as it could be, the tour director and tour driver were wonderful, and most of the accommodations were quite nice.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment. The tour was well organised. Excellent Driver & tour Leader they seemed to share the role having worked together many times. The tour leader being a native of Tasmania was extremely knowledgable and I felt it was a bonus to have him. Would have liked a bit longer in Hobart. Bruny Island cruise great. All in all I was very happy, also with the efficiency of your organization and the prompt response to any query. Thank you.

Everything went very well. The tour director was excellent, the driver outstanding, hotels on a par with what we were expecting, at times more, never less! The food always excellent, at times outstanding (like the crayfish diner!) along with very good company. Overall, I'd say it could not have been better! All the very best.

When will I receive my documents?

Documents for APT Aussie tours are delivered to the hotel or address you are staying at prior to your tour depending on the tour type chosen. We also provide you with a tour itinerary and arrival instructions by email, once we have all your flight information and personal details.

Who else will be travelling with me?

Travel with like-minded English speaking people from such countries as the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, America and Canada. Our seat rotation policy allows you to mix with fellow travellers and see spectacular landscapes from all angles. Our clients are generally 50+, but more than age a positive attitude is important in a group situation. We have found ages to be as diverse and varied as the sites and attractions you will see on tour.

How many people will be on tour with me?

There will be a maximum of 44 people on your coach, however the coach carries an average of just 40 guests.

Will the coach be modern and comfortable?

APT's fleet of luxury motor coaches provides you with the pinnacle of touring luxury. Coaches feature as standard: air-conditioning, toilet/restroom, video screen, comfortable reclining seats with foot rests, state of the art sound system, on-board drinking water, air suspension and large panoramic windows.

What are APT Tour Managers like?

you need to do on tour, is sit back, relax and enjoy yourself.

What will our accommodation be like?

Your accommodation is one of the most important elements of your holiday. This is why we have carefully chosen the best hotels on offer to tour groups, to complement your level of touring.
We are proud to provide superior accommodation with the highest levels of comfort, service and cuisine available.

What are the meals like?

The cuisine you will enjoy on your APT tour is above and beyond the standard meals you would expect on coach tours anywhere in the world. In fact, many dining events will be memorable holiday experiences. We pay careful attention to the negotiation of our menus to ensure choice and a healthy variety of quality food that caters to all tastes is offered. Meals are always accompanied by tea and coffee. As a special highlight, you may have a feature meal included in your tour. This could be a seafood feast or gourmet banquet, featuring tastes known as a speciality of that region. Meals that are included in your tour price are clearly indicated on your itinerary.

I am travelling alone. Is this OK?

Many passengers travel with APT on their own. This means that you will be accommodated in a single room. Alternatively (on many of our tours), you can choose to be matched up with a person of the same gender and pay the twin price. In this instance, accommodation will be in twin-bedded rooms. If APT can't find someone of the same gender to share with you, they will give you a single room at no extra cost.

Where can I find out more information on APT Touring?

We have a dedicated section on our website providing more detailed information on APT including FAQ's on what you need to know before, during and after your travel; as well as information on their 'Touring Styles', and a comprehensive search facility to enable you to easily find more of their tours.
